What The “White Fluff” On The End Of Your Hairbrush Actually Is
The “white fluff” that always manages to accumulate on our hairbrushes is a pretty nasty occurrence. Of course, the good folks on TikTok wanted to make sure that they were getting to the bottom of the issue.
Now that we have gotten the answers we seek, we must admit that this is all a bit gross. What did you expect, though? There’s no way that this was ever going to end well.

@glutenfreepretzlesarebae is the TikTok user who has decided to crack the code. This is the sort of question that may or may not require an answer, depending on where you stand.
As it turns out, the scientific answer makes a lot more sense than any of us ever wanted to realize. The white fluff is comprised primarily of dust and dead skin flakes.

We are still a bit shocked by this fact and judging from the commentary that we saw on TikTok, we are not the only ones who feel this way.
Meanwhile, there are some who were actually relieved to learn more about the fluff. They thought that they were experiencing something a bit more serious and that’s understandable.

It’s always nice to be able to rule out the usual difficulties. We all have a tendency to start Googling our symptoms, which only causes us to start thinking the absolute worst.
