A duo of wedding crashers decided to make their way into a wedding reception and normally, this type of story would not be that noteworthy. It can be funny and lighthearted, and often wedding crashers are welcomed into the party with open arms.
However, one bride took to TikTok to share about the wedding crashers she experienced and it’s quite the tale.
TikTok user and bride Paige shared her story in a now-viral video and people couldn’t believe what happened.
She sat down and told the audience at home a story that starts with “alcoholism, gaslighting and a magician.” Apparently, a random couple showed up to her family’s ranch where she was hosting her wedding reception. Paige realized she didn’t know the couple and went out of her way to find out who they were.
After suspecting the couple didn’t belong, Paige spent her wedding reception talking to family and even the wedding planner to make sure the couple was, indeed, crashing her wedding so she could kick them out.
Paige said that she was first noticed because the woman was “grinding on people in my bridal party” and was “very drunk.” It gets wilder from there. She even walked up to Paige, told her how much she was enjoying the reception and played it off as if Paige was the crazy one for not being able to remember her.
The gambit worked initially. Paige became very anxious about not being able to remember the random woman. She spent the next 30 minutes trying her best to figure it out. Finally, she spoke to her father-in-law, who let her know that the crasher was not with anyone on their side. From there, she asked the wedding planner if she could get to the bottom of it.
The strange woman said that her name was “Sarah” and she claimed to be a neighbor of Paige’s. The local sheriff was finally summoned, hauling the woman off.

After sharing the video on TikTok, Paige didn’t get the reaction she expected. Instead of people sympathizing with her, she was dog-piled by comments saying she was uptight and should’ve let the guests stay!
Paige was so taken aback by the comments that she deleted them all and disabled comments on her posts talking about the wedding crashers.
In a follow-up post, she tried to defend her decision, saying she allowed other uninvited “plus ones” to stay and they were no different to her than the wedding crashers. However, they were being calm and not “harassing” her wedding party, like the wedding crashers were doing.
