This wedding baker is here to teach everyone about a brand new hack that is sure to help couples that are looking to save a bit. For many of us, this advice may be a bit too late, for others, it is arriving not a moment too soon.

@imakeweddingcakes has gained millions of views and likes for this tip and it is easy to see why. It makes so much sense, we are surprised that no one else has thought to share it.

If you have ever had to plan a wedding before, you know that the financial aspect can be tricky. Before long, things can go awry and you will end up being way over your chosen budget.

Most wedding cakes that we see are towering by nature and we have always waited to see if one fell over entirely. We are sure that it has happened but it has yet to occur at a wedding that we have personally attended.

The video is captioned “Could you tell?” and to be honest, we could not. The cake in this clip appears to be a seven-tiered beauty but in fact, it is something else entirely.

This trick allows couples to enjoy the elaborate, ornate cutting that they are looking for. However, it also allows them to save the embarrassment of having a cheap sheet cake.

This one makes all of the sense in the world to us. After all, it is not like every couple has big money on hand to spend hundreds or even thousands on a cake. Best of all, we even receive a behind-the-scenes look at how these cakes are made.

The baker has a very fun process to observe and we loved every second of it.

Of course, the viewers who watched the video had questions. Fortunately, the baker was more than happy to answer them. “How do they know where to cut it?” inquired one watcher. “It’s marked!” the baker replied in the comments. In case anyone was wondering, 2 cakes were made for the price of just $30.
