According to Bree, she spent $4.16 at the checkout but she got $117 worth of groceries and household items. The best news is, she was willing to share how she did it on her website in an article.
Some of the resources she used to save such a great amount of money included clipping coupons from the weekly ad that Walmart sends out. She was able to save money on things, such as toothpaste, razors, barbecue sauce, and skin lotion.
Not being content to stop with clipping coupons, she also clipped some coupons electronically with the coupons.com app. She found a way to save a little more money with manufacturer’s coupons.
After she finished shopping, she then started uploading the receipt to some cash-back resources, such as Swagbucks and Shopkick. Those rewards saved her about $80 in total.
It’s not difficult to save money at Walmart. They make coupons available through various flyers as well as on their website.
Bree takes things a step further by using coupons.com. It offers both printable and digital coupons to save money on a wide variety of items. It’s also available as an app that can be used at the store.
With a little forethought and the right attitude, you can really save some money on groceries. It’s something that everyone can consider, especially considering the price of groceries these days.
