The Waffle House cook who is sharing this information with us is known by the handle @hotsoupandcracker on TikTok. The system is “secret” but it is so complex, many were questioning why it would even need to exist in the first place.
The video that @hotsoupandcracker had to provide was an awesome watch and we could not stop sharing it with all of the Waffle House lovers in our life. We clearly were not alone here, as the clip has racked up nearly half a million views.
The locations of different foods, add ons, and sauces will communicate what the customer has ordered. If the plate comes with a jelly pack at the bottom, this means that the customer has asked for some scrambled eggs. If the jelly is flipped upside down, the customer has ordered some white toast.
The codes are so intricate and we can hardly believe our eyes. We had no idea that Waffle House was so complex with their systems but it is the type of thing that probably makes perfect sense to the employees that are taking the time to use it each day.
We already had the utmost respect for these employees and now we are even more enamored with their hard work. You have never seen anything like this before, we can guarantee you that.
