Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Anyone who has been to Takashimaya mall in Tokyo has probably seen this display but in case you are unable to hop on a plane at the moment, we are here to bring the excitement to you.

This is an amazing shadow exhibit and it is well worth checking out. There are four different windows to choose from. In each window, there is a Toy Story character getting their boogie on.

However, once you are able to open the door, you will find that the toys become lifeless again. It’s so well done, you won’t believe your eyes. No stone has been left unturned and the toys even give a slight jiggle. If you would like to learn more about how they were able to accomplish such an amazing exhibit, you’ll want to check out the awesome video below.

Be forewarned, the video is in Japanese but you should still be able to appreciate it. This year promises to be a big one for Toy Story fans regardless.

The comments on the video are absolutely priceless, too. We laughed so hard at the person who claimed that they hear the theme song from X-Files in their head when the doors open. This is not meant to be creepy but we can see why that would be the reaction from some folks.

Even though the video is in Japanese, we enjoyed every last second of it. In fact, we are highly jealous that we do not have any exhibits like this one to enjoy on this side of the pond.

Hopefully, American malls take notice of this incredible exhibit and decide to create their own.
