The pandemic has robbed many of many of our favorite activities, like going to the movies and bars. There’s something about both of those experiences that you simply cannot recreate at home. However, one family decided to get creative and bring the bar to their backyard – and they shared the whole thing on TikTok.
TikTok user guthut and his family decided that they would construct their own bar outside out of snow, and believe it or not, the process looks relatively simple.
With a few items from around the house and a bit of elbow grease, you can make anything happen, including a backyard snow bar. And they’re not even the first to try it!
The best part is that the bar is always going to be cold. Thanks to the snow it’s created with, you won’t need to grab any ice to keep your drinks chilled.

People in the comments were thrilled by the idea. “Are you hiring family members? Asking for me,” said one of the jealous viewers at home. Even those who are not looking to spend time in colder areas are having a serious change of heart. “I have never wanted to live in [a snowy location] until right now,” one person commented.
Now that going out to the bars is considered to be unsafe thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have to make do the best we can in the meantime. If you live in a snowy climate, this may just be the perfect winter pastime.
