Bad takeout stories are enough to make anyone cringe. All anyone wants is to be able to grab their food and get back home without incident.
Now, this man has gone viral for sharing his tale of woe and you won’t be able to believe it. The story was initially shared on TikTok and it involves some train doors, as well as an order of fried chicken that he was trying to enjoy.
Zah is a TikTok user that resides in northern New Jersey. He used the PATH train to shoot up to the big city really quickly.
His plan was a simple one. He wanted to grab some fried chicken from his favorite spot in Koreatown. He procured the chicken and all seemed well enough at first. All he had to do was get back on the train and head home, right?
Unfortunately for our friend here, the train doors had other ideas. His order was trapped in the doors once they closed and he was forced to hang on for dear life throughout the ride. The clip that we saw was hilarious, we are not going to lie. However, our hearts went out to him at this moment because we know how it feels to lose out on food that you have already purchased.
“Odds we make it across the Hudson River?” he wrote in his caption. At least he maintained a good sense of humor about the whole thing. We might have lost it if we are being fully honest here.
One of the comments stuck with us, as someone said that they had no idea that this was even something that could happen.
It reminds us of the old Seinfeld episode where Kramer is looking to score a gyro before the train leaves, only to get stuck in the door and have his meal stolen by another passenger. Zah did not suffer a fate nearly as cruel but it is still a major bummer.

However, this story comes with a much happier ending than you may have expected. The order actually remained intact somehow! We are not sure how that is even possible but we are glad that Zah still got to enjoy his fried chicken after all. All’s well that ends well.
The physics of how this could take place are insane to us, but hey, we are not here to question the laws that govern fried chicken!
