Summer is upon us and that means it’s about time for Starbucks to release its summer menu! While the past few years have been great for summer beverages, the company hasn’t released a new limited-time flavor in more than three years.
All of that is about to change, though! The Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappuccino has arrived and we cannot wait to try this one for ourselves. The company shared a photo of the drink on Instagram, saying, “Say hello to the new Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappuccino® Drink. Your summer just got summer-er.”
According to the drink’s description, the Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappuccino is made with “Funnel cake–flavored syrup blended with coffee, milk and ice, layered with strawberry puree, whipped cream and powdered-sugar-funnel-cake pieces.”
If your mouth is already watering from the mere description of this new drink, you have something in common with the rest of us.
This new drink is now available to order as of May 11, but it is a limited-time-only flavor so you’ll want to enjoy it while you still can!
In addition to this new beverage, Starbucks also announced its bringing back the unicorn-shaped cake pops this summer, which feature “creamy vanilla flavored cake with confetti sprinkles shaped into a unicorn, dipped in a white chocolaty icing, and finished with a magical design.” The Alhambra & Blue Ridge Starbucks already shared a photo of the throwback cake-pop back in stores!
The chain is also emphasizing its colorful refreshers and iced coffees for people to enjoy in the hot weather.
