Starbucks is a favorite for a lot of people, and it just got a little bit better. You may or may not be aware of this, but Starbucks actually offers customers a free birthday drink or bite to eat! What better way to brighten your birthday than with a free coffee?
However, you can’t just walk in and say it’s your birthday to get a free item. Instead, you’ll need to create a Starbucks rewards account (it’s free!) and the reward will be offered to you on there.
You can download the Starbucks app to make things easier, and then you’ll have any future rewards on your phone! Otherwise, they can be sent to you via email and you can access them that way.
If you aren’t already a member, you must join at least seven days before your birthday. When it comes time to enter the Starbucks Rewards account information, provide your date of birth and that will be the day you’re rewarded the free birthday drink.
In order to qualify, you do need to make one purchase on your rewards account prior to receiving the drink. You could order something small, as long as it earns points you’ll be all set.
