People Are Decorating Their Christmas Trees For St. Patrick’s Day

Instead of taking your Christmas tree down, you can repurpose it for St. Patrick’s Day.

This has been a year where people were not inclined to take down their Christmas trees all that quickly. In fact, there’s really not much of a reason to. If you are anything like us, you will probably love the fact that you can decorate them for other holidays.

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, which means it is time to break out all of our favorite green items. It is a holiday that is best commemorated with a plate of corned beef and cabbage. You’ll also want to have a nice, tall frosty beer. While there are some people who use this holiday to showcase their pride in their Irish heritage, others simply love the food and the booze. And now, those who want to show their pride (or their joy) can now enjoy these awesome St. Patrick’s Day trees.

People are sharing their trees on social media and they’re incredibly festive. Those who have an artificial tree are way ahead of the game because it is already green. All you need to do from here is add the necessary embellishments to the tree and you are good to go.

If you are unsure on how to get started, try adding all of the traditional St. Patrick’s Day items to a tree, like Shamrocks, rainbows, gold coins, and leprechauns!

The truly fancy folks out there may even decide to weave green ribbons throughout the branches for an added touch. There are all sorts of toppers that can be used, too. A giant shamrock might be nice or you could decide to top the tree with an enormous St. Patrick’s Day hat.
