New Yorker Gives Tour Of One Of The “Smallest” Apartments In The City
We have seen our share of bizarre New York City apartments on TikTok as of late. Every time that we think we have seen the smallest apartment that the city has to offer, someone else shows up a video that tops the previous one.
We do not have the official ranking list on hand but we are almost certain that this clip is going to take the cake.
This latest dispatch from the city that never sleeps comes from a user named AJ (@ajwebber). His video was so popular, he received over 10 million views in just one day.
He refers to his apartment as the smallest in the city in this clip. At this point, we need to start keeping track of these small apartments, so that we can start our own official ranking board.
His apartment is one of the most unique places that you are ever going to come across. The front door opens up directly to a sink and this gave lots of us flashbacks to our days of living in the dorms.
“Whatever your expectations are, lower them,” says AJ as he begins the tour. He certainly was not telling any lies there.
“The kitchen” does not offer more than two small cabinets and a small fridge. The bunk bed is his living space and what he refers to as a closet consists of little more than some hangers and a few meager shelves.

Some pointed out that the place was missing a bathroom, which promoted a follow-up video.
Apparently, he has to walk down the hallway and use a shared restroom!

The commentators were pretty ruthless but they do have a point. Why do people want to live in the city of New York this badly? We can understand the upsides but the downsides seem pretty darn grim from where we are sitting. However, we are not here to yuck anyone’s yum.
New York City is a place that lots and lots of people want to be a part of. As the old saying goes….if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. We wish AJ all of the luck in the world going forward. He’s going to be needing it!
