Fake leather seats versus cloth seats. Which do you prefer to have in your car?

On one hand, cloth seats are much gentler to sit down on in the dead of summer when your car has been in the sun all day. But the trade-off is they are much more difficult to clean if you ever end up spilling something in your car.

If you have pets or kids? Your cloth seats will almost always be stained with something.

However, thanks to one Facebook user, you might not have to live with unsightly stains in your car’s cloth seats for very long.

According to Anna Lakin, she discovered the power of the shaving cream cleaning hack following a weekend camping.

The Facebook user confessed that, after a weekend camping trip, her seats were a stained disaster. Not knowing what else to do, she remembered a trick with shaving cream and decided to give it a try.

The results were marvelous. As she explained, it was quite a simple process. She took some scented shaving cream and sprayed it all over her car seats, rubbing it into the fabric.

Then, she scrubbed down the seats with some warm water and a sponge. In order to remove the excess water, Anna took out the filter from her vacuum and sucked up the rest of the water, leaving the seats to air dry.

A little life Hack for y’all. Took my car camping a little bit ago and well the seat got a bunch of stains…. I came…

Based on the pictures, it worked wonders. But the best part is, you don’t have to get your car professionally detailed anymore. You can do it yourself for very cheap – all you need is a little shaving cream and some elbow grease!

What do you think of Anna’s cleaning hack? Have you ever tried it before? Let us know!
