For many, this debate has been the last straw. If you have spent any time on Twitter, you probably have seen a few viral tweets that spiraled into more massive debates.

The one that we are about to show you is one for the ages. By the time we got done reading all of the tweets, we started to have serious doubts as to whether we are using juice box straws in the correct manner.

@romanbuso21 is the user who posted the picture that kicked things off. A now-deleted tweet showed the bendy part of the straw actually placed inside of the box.

It was sitting at the bottom instead of on the outside. This goes against the rules that we normally follow but we are all ears in this instance.

We are open to the idea that we may have been doing it all wrong. The photo that the aforementioned Twitter user shared came with a hilarious caption. “My whole life has been a lie,” they said. If we flip the straw, this achieves one all-important goal. This provides us with the mobility that we need to get to every last drop of juice.

If you have ever found yourself struggling to get all of the juice out of the corners of each individual juice box, you can relate to this one. While this is being hailed as the correct way to go about this, there are a sizable number of people who do not agree.

One person has already offered up a pretty convincing rebuttal on the matter. “The bottom is sharp in order to pierce through the seal of the juice box, and the top middle part has a grid design to ensure the straw does not fall into the box easily so that theory is a lie,” they said. That makes a lot of sense to us.

Of course, the Twitter world is always full of people who are not going to allow themselves to be swept up in a relatively silly debate. We can see why, as there is already so much going on in the world. While we are always open to learning, we had to laugh at one tweet that we saw. “[The] fact that people are actually taking this seriously…,” they said, followed by three laughing emojis.

What do you think? How do you use a juice box straw? Let us know!
