“Popcorn Guy” Goes Viral For Impressive Snack-Serving Skills
We all have our daily chores to do, regardless of what job we have. Of course, it is easy to fall into the trap of doing them as mechanically as possible. That just makes the job more of a drag, though.
We believe that you should put your all into every job that you do, regardless of how mundane it might be. Jason Grosboll works at a Corpus Christi, Texas movie theater and these are words that he lives by.
His efforts have received a lot of praise. As a matter of fact, he is now known as the “Popcorn Guy” because of his willingness to add a bit of razzle dazzle to the proceedings.
One of his guests, a man named Oscar, decided to take a video of him in action and the internet is losing their minds.
Instead of just filling the bucket, he spins it around. This allows the butter to distribute in a more even manner. He knows how to put on a show and his work deserves to be seen by all. It’s every bit as exciting as any movie that these patrons are coming to see.
Oscar happened to be at the theater to see the new Avatar film when the video was taken. He added his reaction to the process and even used filters to enhance the excitement.

The first video that he posted has been seen over 6 million times but when he was asked to post the original footage? The numbers more than doubled.

In fact, the videos became so popular that even Jimmy Kimmel felt compelled to share them with his audience on his daily talk show.
He compared the effort that Jason puts into the amazing skills of the Harlem Globetrotters and we are inclined to agree. Jason was given the chance to tell his story, letting the audience know he’s been doing the job for 10 years but he’s only been serving up this trick for the past 5.
Now, Jason is getting an invitation to the Oscars for his efforts. This is proof that even the most mundane tasks need to be done with some flair and enthusiasm.
