If you are anything like us, you enjoy a nice, cold brewski from time to time. However, there is just one problem. We are often left to wonder how to open the beer or other drinks with crown cork lids when we do not have the proper apparatus on hand.

There are ways to get around this but they are all more difficult than they seem.

You can use the corner of a table to open the beer but that’s not the best move from a furniture standpoint. Those who do not wish to destroy their furniture or the heel of their palm would do well to read on and learn more. This chef is here to demonstrate various hacks.

To get started, she begins by using tongs. This is a smart first suggestion but she is not done there. The next suggestion is even better. She takes a spoon and a garlic press and is able to successfully remove the metal crown caps that will not come off.

We are definitely going to be bookmarking this one for future use. Few things are more annoying than grabbing a beer out of the fridge, only to realize that we do not have the ability to open it.
