No More Wasting Pasta How To Measure The Right Amount Of Pasta

Pasta is a tricky game of sizing. Sure, if you’re feeding a family or a crowd, we all end up dumping the whole box of pasta into the pot, but what happens when it’s only for a small crowd? Here is a great tip on how to portion out pasta without getting out the scale.

You can portion out the pasta by using your thumb and pointer finger. To measure one portion, bend your pointer finger and place your finger tip at the base of your thumb. For two portions, place your pointer finger on your thumb’s knuckle. Finally, three portions can be measured out with your finger pressed on your thumb’s fingertip.

For each portion, you get around a hundred grams, meaning you don’t waste extra pasta.
