Nothing rings in the Valentine’s Day season quite like the vivid cheery colors of white, pink, and red. What makes it even better is if these colors are encasing a sweet treat. Here, these No Bake Oreo Heart Truffles are the perfect way to keep cupid’s energy in the air! A decadent but simple Oreo cheesecake truffle filling shaped into hearts and coated with white chocolate for a treat that has all of the appearances but none of the fuss.

These truffles look complicated, but they are actually a cinch to make.

After mashing the Oreo cookies (cream and all) into fine crumbs, mix in cream cheese until a paste forms.

Press the truffle filling onto a sheet pan or into a baking dish, this will ensure that the truffles are all one even layer.

After a brief stint in the fridge, use a small cookie cutter to form the heart shape for the truffles.

The truffles take a plunge into melted white chocolate. Depending on how you want to decorate your truffles, you can divide the melted white chocolate and color half of it pink or red. You can even use colored candy melts that you find in the craft store as the coating.

While the truffle coating is still wet, garnish it with sprinkles, then let them firm up completely.

Served at a party or given to a special individual, these No Bake Oreo Heart Truffles are the treat to make and eat!

The filling is chocolaty but also has a great balance of cream cheese which cuts through the sweetness.

Since the cream cheese cuts through the sweetness of the filling, the white chocolate coating isn’t overpowering and makes for a perfect combination.

You can make these as small or as big as you want. If you want to streamline the process even more, you can roll the truffle filling into balls instead of cutting out the heart shapes.

Ingredients
  • 54 Oreo cookies, ground (cream filling and all) into a fine crumb
  • 12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 16 ounces white chocolate or almond bark
  • Red and pink food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles, for garnish
Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine Oreo crumbs and cream cheese, mixing together until it forms a uniform paste.
  2. Transfer the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, pressing into an even 1-inch layer.
  3. Chill the dough in the freezer for 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. Once firmed up, use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Transfer the cut out truffles to a parchment-lined plate.
  5. Melt white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals until completely melted. If you want to have different colored truffles, you can divide the melted chocolate now and tint it pink or red.
  6. Dip each heart truffle into the white chocolate, making sure it’s completely coated.
  7. Garnish with sprinkles. If you want to make stripes, let the truffles’ coating firm up completely and then drizzle on an opposite color.
