Celebrities, they’re just like us. We often forget that celebrities are just ordinary people like any one of us because we’re always seeing them in the context of the limelight.
But in reality, they’re no different from any of us. They also have the same hopes, dreams, fears, and experiences that we do. And like us, many are goofballs who prank their friends…or other celebrities they’ve never met as was the case with Russell Crowe.
While appearing on the Graham Norton Show, Crowe was able to share a rather funny story that involved the late Michael Jackson.
He was known as the King of Pop. We fondly remember him for giving us such bangers such as “Thriller,” “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough,” and so many more. But he was also known as being quite the prankster.
Ever the child at heart, as he once famously described himself, Jackson was probably just as famous for pranking others as he was for his music.
It turns out, that one of his celebrity pranks happened to be Russell Crowe – who he had never met at the time!
While on the Graham Norton Show, Norton asked Crowe to recount the story. He went on to reveal that while staying at his hotel, Jackson had called his room various times, speaking in different made-up voices. It was a funny experience that Crowe didn’t soon forget.
