Making Bakery-Style Muffin Wrappers With Parchment Paper

There’s something true about the saying “you eat with your eyes.” Presentation really elevates food. And when it comes to cupcakes and muffins, achieving that professional level of presentation can be as simple as swapping out the liners. Sure, many places use classic liners like what we find in the grocery store, but the smooth-wrapped paper that has become popular in many gourmet stores gives these desserts and treats a more polished appearance. You don’t need to go far or wide to find the perfect way to achieve similar wrapped results.

Start by cutting parchment paper into 4×6-inch squares. Next, cut slightly into the squares on all four corners of each square.

Press the squares into the muffin pan. With the slits, the paper will fold into the rounded muffin pans naturally. Use your hands to flatten the inside of the muffin papers before adding in the batter.
