According to People, there is some action happening in Hollywood’s elite real estate front.

The late Betty White’s former California beach home has already been sold after spending just a month on the market. Her home sold for $10.775 million – almost $3 million more than the original asking price of $7.75 million.

As we all know, Betty White passed away at the age of 99 on December 31, 2021. Her house was then sold just three months after her passing. Both White and her husband, Allen Ludden, built the three-story house back in 1981.

They purchased the Carmel, California 0.3-acre lot with a waterfront view for only $170,000 in 1978, as reported by KMBC TV.

Unfortunately, the couple only lived in their beach home together for several months before Ludden passed away. After his death, White still continued to live in the home. The realtor Nicole Truszkowski of Truskowski Freedman & Associates, Sotheby’s International Realty – Carmel Brokerage is the one handling the listing.

As Truszkowski told People, “The home embodies the spirit of Betty and Allen. It was eloquently understated with the focus on nature and the natural beauty surrounding the home. Spending time in Carmel was one of Betty’s favorite things to do. She enjoyed many treasured moments with her family and close friends.”

Even though it has been sold, you can still take a look at it online though the Sotheby Realty website. The 3,621-square-foot home features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, and features a “panoramic ocean views of the Point Lobos Nature Reserve, Ribera Beach, and Monastery Beach from nearly every room, thanks to the genius of architect Richard Hicks.”

If you’re a little bummed that you missed out on buying a property owned by Betty White, don’t feel too bad. According to The Hollywood Reporter, White’s Los Angeles/Brentwood home is still on the market for a cool $10.57 million!
