Kraft made a Valentine’s Day announcement on Wednesday about a new edition that they’re releasing in honor of the holiday. The kicker? It’s candy flavored.
Candy flavored mac and cheese may be a bridge too far for some. For others, it might be just right. Kraft refers to the addition as a “candy flavor packet to turn the mac & cheese pink and add hints of sweet candy flavor.” We are not going to lie to you, that sounds kind of intriguing. It’s getting harder and harder for us to resist the temptation.
You would have to be made of stone not to be a little interested in this unique dish. The prospect of combining candy flavoring with mac and cheese is foreign to us, but that does not mean that it won’t be good eating.
One of the best parts? The noodles are bright pink.
Apparently, this flavor is not going to be making its way to store shelves. Instead, Kraft is giving away 1,000 boxes of it to lucky winners. Interested parties will need to enter into a contest to win one of the boxes.
Valentine’s Day is bound to be on the strange side this year anyway. Why not spice it up with a unique meal that cannot be found anywhere else?
Of course, several people were curious about the interesting noodles. One person asked if it’ll taste the same as the regular noodles and Kraft responded, saying, “Imagine sweet candy meets warm, comforting macaroni noodles… And then they fall in love.”
