Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

While cooking is something that can be a ton of fun, it can also get kinda boring using the same ingredients day in and day out. The best way to spice things up in the kitchen is to let Jennifer Garner’s son name your spices.

Jennifer shared an Instagram photo of her spice jars with hilarious labels created by her 7-year-old son, Samuel. Jen asked her son to come up with some punny names for their spices and he totally delivered.

“Mom: Will you please make labels for my spices?

7 year old boy: Yup,” she wrote along with the facepalm emoji.

Mom: Will you please make labels for my spices? 7 year old boy: Yup. 🤦🏻‍♀️ #pizza, thyme, rosemary, meatballmix, parsley, sage #thatswhatigetforwantingfunnykids #bythewaydryingyourspicesisfun🤗

Garner’s spice mix for pizza became “Pizza the right way,” sage was renamed as “Sage The Children,” turned rosemary into “Rosefart,” and the meatball mix into “Meatbutt.”

We don’t know why, but thyme was spared.

We totally agree with Jennifer’s two hashtags: “That’s what I get for wanting funny kids,” and “By the way drying your spices is fun.”
