Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

If you are anything like us, the mere idea of a TikTok that claims to teach us how to eat a chicken wing may seem unnecessary. After all, we have been eating chicken wings since childhood and we have yet to have any real struggles. On the other hand, the tutorial that you are about to see just might be a game-changer that you do not expect.

So why did this particular user go viral for sharing this life hack? NoHankyPanky is gaining popularity for offering up this method, which is simple and bizarre.

She claims that this is the “real way” to eat chicken wings and of course, TikTok is embroiled in a major debate about the matter. Wait until you have had the chance to check this one out for yourself!

You won’t know what to think or how to feel either. This video carries on one of our favorite long-running traditions on TikTok. The app is filled with all sorts of videos that are supposed to put a whole new spin on our daily activities. On a daily basis, we are being told that we are doing something all wrong but we try our absolute best to remain as gracious as possible about it.

NoHankyPanky is sure to let the audience know that she did not come up with this one on her own, too. “I didn’t come up with that. I’m not that smart,” she claims. Well, if nothing else, at least she is modest! Her method seems easy enough to follow, too. She bites off the end of the wing, as a means of freeing up the bones.

We never would have thought of this in a million years, if we are being perfectly honest. That’s why the reactions on TikTok are so understandable. People do not know what to make of this. Once she’s removed the other end of the wing, the smaller bone inside of the wing is grabbed and pulled loose.

“It should just slide right out,” she says. As soon as this step is handled, she’s got one chunk of chicken on top of one bone. It’s easy to handle and easy to show to your friends.
