Here’s How Ice Rinks Are Made
Many of us have been to an ice rink, either to go skating or to watch an ice hockey game. What we may not be privy to, however, is how the ice is made. That is about to change, however, thanks to this viral video.
The video was shared by Imani @wegoodondissise and from what it appears, they actually work in an ice skating rink in Boston. Thanks to the viral series of videos, it shows how one of the outdoor rinks is filled up and cared for in the city.
We have seen a lot of these behind-the-scenes types of videos in recent times. Somebody’s job can be fascinating, especially if you’ve never done it before but you take advantage of what it has to offer.
Then again, we might just enjoy watching people do what they do best, regardless of whether they are cutting grass or working in a tollbooth.
As far as this video is concerned, it is going viral for all the right reasons. Most people are not familiar with how ice rinks are created and on top of that, is just cool to watch.
You can watch the water being poured across a series of metal bars that are connected with each other. At a later time, the icy layer is melted down to a certain extent that forms on the bars. More water is added in and it freezes over.
The videos are somewhat detailed, especially considering the social platform where they are loaded. People are very thankful that they now get this look behind-the-scenes and most of their questions are answered.
