On a regular basis, Lego comes out with a new design and blocks to match. It seems as if this is happening during the holiday season this year, as Alex Storozhuk, a Lego fan designer has come up with the concept for the Home Alone Lego Set.
This new design is no small accomplishment. With 3,955 pieces, it is sure to keep you busy for quite some time. In addition, creating the McAllister house is more than just something to do, it can really put you in the middle of the excitement of the classic Christmas film.
Inside the McAllister house, you will find the attic, basement, and a number of rooms. There is even a treehouse outside that includes the zip line from the movie. Something else you can build is the getaway van that belongs to Harry and Marv.
Kevin McAllister is one of the five miniature Lego figures included in the set. Even his figure can be customized to have the open-face shocked look that is so iconic from the movie.
Other miniature figures include Kate, the mom, the family’s neighbor (Old Man Marley), and of course, Harry and Marv. They even come with their own Lego-style crowbars!
Once you have created the set, you can begin working on some of the more iconic scenes from the movie. As you continue to work with the Legos, you will find that there are many things you can do with them.

Something that is especially interesting about this particular Lego set is the fact that it can be put together on a schedule. The Legos are split into 24 different build bags, so you can put some of the set together every day. It is possible to follow the plot line of the movie as you build it.
