If there’s one thing every good gathering needs, it’s a great dip, and Gran’s Cucumber Dip is the cool, creamy crowd-pleaser that’s stood the test of time. This refreshing blend brings together the tang of lemon, the sharpness of feta, and the crunch of cucumber in the most delicious way. Whether you’re headed to a potluck, planning a picnic, or just craving a midweek snack that hits the spot, this classic recipe has you covered.

This dip strikes the perfect balance of rich and refreshing. You’ve got the creaminess of sour cream as the base, but also the zip of lemon juice and the brightness of vinegar. Dried dill and oregano give it a little herby flavor, while a pinch of red pepper flakes brings just enough kick. Add in some garlic, green onion, and salty crumbled feta, and you’ve got a dip that’s anything but boring. It’s like tzatziki’s more indulgent sibling, and we’re here for it!

Once everything’s mixed, a little time in the fridge helps all those flavors marry together for an even more delicious final result. That four-hour chill time may feel like a big ask when you just want to dive in, but trust us, it’s well worth the wait. This recipe is simple enough for a last-minute get-together but flavorful enough to feel like something you’ve been making for generations. Take Gran’s word for it, this recipe is a keeper.
