Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Patsy Wilbanks may not be a name that you’ve ever heard before but after reading about her, it may just be a name you never forget. In an attempt to teach a family friend how homemade biscuits are made, she produced a video with the help of her grandson. Patsy has been baking since she was only 12 years old.

After seeing the video, they decided it was too good to keep to themselves. They posted it on Facebook to help other people learn how to make these delicious biscuits. Within 24 hours, more than 13,000 people viewed the video. At the time, she didn’t even know what it meant to “go viral.”

“At first when somebody would make a comment on my Facebook page I would answer it. Then it just started going boom boom boom and I couldn’t answer everybody so I just had to put a thank you to everybody. I mean everybody this is such an honor. I can’t believe they would watch my video and make those biscuits,” says Patsy Wilbanks according to WDEF.

Not only are people making the biscuits, but they are also passing along the pictures of the finished product. Wilbanks is now planning on starting a series of cooking videos on Facebook.

Here’s my recipe, hope it helps you!
