We wait all year for our Girl Scout cookies, and more than likely, we already have a favorite. Personally, I love thin mints but I may just be changing my tune, thanks to a new addition.
According to an announcement from the Girl Scouts of the USA, a new flavor will be debuted for the 2021 cookie season. It is known as the “Toast-Yay!” Cookie. It is inspired by French toast dipped in icing and every bite is reported to have “full flavor.”
The GSUSA reports that the cookie will be available in select areas during the 2021 cookie season.
It seems as if the Girl Scouts are also changing their cookie-selling and delivery method in response to the current pandemic. A gift box option is also going to be available so you can have cookies shipped directly to you or someone you love.

A new national online platform is being debuted by the Girl Scouts in response to the pandemic. It is known as “Girl Scouts Cookie Care” and is designed to allow customers to “safely order cookies for home delivery or to donate cookies to first responders, volunteers, and local causes.”
“Girl Scouts will again embrace their entrepreneurial spirit by selling cookies through online platforms and innovative ‘virtual cookie booths’ on social media (with parental supervision),” the company said in the release. “Many girls will offer socially distant or contactless sales and delivery options. If local guidelines allow, in-person sales may also be available in certain areas, keeping girls’ safety top priority.”
The typical season for buying Girl Scout cookies begins in January but that may change, depending upon your location.SKM: below-content placeholder
