Garlic Bread Without Having To Turn On The Oven

Garlic bread. There are very few things that sing to the heart of a savory carb lover quite like the crispy toasted, and buttery, and sometimes cheesy, elements of freshly baked garlic bread. The problem, especially when the temperature rises, is the baking part. When you don’t want to make a whole batch or simply don’t want to turn on the oven, this quick garlic bread tip is here to the rescue.

After prepping the garlic, it’s mixed with softened butter alongside pantry spices like chili flakes and dried Italian herbs like oregano, thyme, or rosemary.

Once mixed into a uniform paste, it gets spread on top of the bread. If you want to make a big batch of garlic bread, you may have to split the loaf in half to make it fit in the pan. For an individual portion, you can simply use a hard roll. Don’t use a super thick, hardy rustic bread, or else it might burn before it cooks through all of the way.

Top the bread with ample cheese and place it into a nonstick fry pan.

Cover the pan with a lid and let the bread cook on the stovetop for several minutes.

Once the cheese melts, it’s ready to serve. While it may not have the top cheese crispiness, it’s a great alternative for when you want to satisfy those garlic bread cravings. It’s perfect in a pinch or when you don’t want to heat up your kitchen with all of the oven preheating and actual baking time.
