Lucy’s owners have confirmed that the elephant is available for accommodation on the home-sharing site, Airbnb. The charming attraction is 138 years old – an age that actually makes her older than the Eiffel Tower! Lucy is a National Historic Landmark who has all her original features such as the same decor dating all the way back from the Victorian era.

In order to get up to the accommodation space, you’ll first need to climb up 25 steps. Then, in Lucy’s belly area you’ll find a bed, an antique trunk, old sculptures, plus some beautiful flower arrangements. Lucy has also hosted some big names in the past, such as former US president Woodrow Wilson.

Lucy is located right in the middle of the Jersey Shore and is only five miles from Atlantic City. This means you’ll be close to some great restaurants as well as the casinos and, of course, the beach. While Lucy is in a great location, should you just want to enjoy some time alone in the elephant, the room is equipped with plenty of things to keep you occupied. It has plenty of board games, as well as a fully stocked bar.

You can book Lucy on Airbnb.
