Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Fill the crockpot to the top and set it on the countertop. Make sure that it is in a part of the home where you would like the most moisture. Put the lid on to heat the water and set the temperature on high.
Step 2: Watch the slow cooker and when steam starts coming up to the lid, you can remove the lid and turn the temperature to low. At that point, the water will be evaporating into the room.
Step 3: Keep your eye on the water level and when it drops too low, simply add more water to the slow cooker. If you need to heat up the water again quickly, put the lid on temporarily.
Step 4: You can also make your home smell great by adding some drops of essential oil or perhaps slicing up some lemons and adding them to the water with cinnamon.
