Crisping Up Your White Clothes Before Summer

With summer approaching, the time for breezy summer white fabric clothes is in the air. Many people are hesitant to jump into a pair of white slacks or pull on a white T-shirt because there’s the inevitable staining of said white clothes, or last year’s white ones are looking a little dull. Here, this method does double duty, brightening whites as well as lifting out stains.

TikTok user mama_mila_ focused her content on household organizing, decorating, and cleaning, and this hack is a quick way to brighten up your whites.

Place the piece of clothing in a bowl and fill it three-quarters of the way with water. Next, add 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide.

The peroxide is followed by 1 cup of baking soda.

Finally, you add 1 tablespoon of dish soap (like Dawn brand). Gently mix everything together and let it rest for an hour or so. Remove the clothes from the bowl and wash them in the laundry as usual.
