Ending a year like 2020 deserves a bigger celebration than normal. We could probably all use a fresh start, and socially distanced New Year’s parties are sure to welcome that with a bit more eagerness than in years past.

However, it’s important to note that each bottle costs $829.99. It’s been a hard year for a lot of us and many people are out of work because of the pandemic. Coming up with over $800 for a bottle of champagne may not be realistic, but maybe you could split it with your family members and each pitch in for a liter. After all, it’s an especially important year to treat yourself we can just tell people are in need of a little champagne therapy.
The Veuve Clicquot website describes the beverage as having an “aromatic intensity” and “freshness.” It has aromas of yellow and white fruits, vanilla, and brioche. It pairs well with meals, especially with seafood, fish tartar, blinis, salmon, crackers, pasta, and parmesan.
