Costco is full of things you need and maybe a few things you don’t exactly need. However, when it comes to feeding a large crowd a trip to Costco can save tons of both time and money. Just in for the holiday season Costco is now selling a pull-apart cheesy bread in the frozen section and the response has been very excited.

The bread comes cut into squares (though not cut to the bottom of the square loaf) and the space in between is filled with Brie, Emmental (Swiss), and mozzarella cheeses. The instructions are to bake for 14-16 minutes. That’s so quick!

Plus the package actually comes with two loaves for around $11which is a pretty good deal- especially if you are throwing a family get together or other event over the winter. We can imagine this with a glass of red wine or even a cup of hot coco on a cold winter’s night.

The two-pack is made by French food company, Tipiak. Costco sells other goodies from this brand as well, like their cheese-filled dough balls and their colorful French macarons- all of which seem to be cult favorites for those seeking delicate foods but at inexpensive prices.

This pain au fromage seems like it would be so much cleaner and easier than fondue, with a taste that satisfies all the same. It’s more elegant and cheaper than a lot of hors d’oeuvres, but is humble enough to go with pretty much any meal we could think of. Oh, and this bread served with some homemade soup would be amazing!

Fans of the Costco shopping account CostcoBuys on Instagram have been very positive about the cheesy-bread, with many excited people responding that they intended to try this one out!

What do you think of this appetizer for the holidays? Could you see yourself indulging in a pre-made appetizer for this price?
