Who else loves to browse homes for sale online? If you’re in your 30s, then probably you. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine to look at all the houses out of my price range and imagine what it would be like to live in them.

Well, if you’re like me and you love browsing properties that are way too expensive, then you’ll love this Zillow listing in the middle of Woodstock, Connecticut. Essentially, it’s a castle. And if you have a spare $35 million, then you can become the prince/princess you always dreamed of being when you were a kid.

The beautiful castle, listed on Zillow, is comprised of nine bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, and 3 half baths. It covers 18,777 square feet and comes with 75 acres of property. The castle even has its own moat! How cool is that?

The property description reads, “Stunning one of a kind property built to amaze and capture the imagination of the individual who relishes outstanding craftsmanship and superior design.”

And yes, while it’s quite imaginative to look at, it’s clear that it’s so much more than that. There is real craftsmanship that went into it and the interior of the castle reflects that. There are 12 fireplaces throughout the residence, as well as a very opulent entry hall and plenty of communal space.

Each one of the bathrooms has its own design and style – same with the bedrooms. Each bedroom is gigantic and has plenty of windows to let in light. If you’re someone whose favorite room in the house is the kitchen, then get ready to drop your jaw. It is all modern with the best appliances available. And the kitchen has a great view of the 30-acre Potter Pond.

But that isn’t the end. The castle also has a lower level of 4,500 square feet where the builders have managed to fit a common area, a circular bar, and another fireplace. There is even a raised stage/auditorium in the castle. But unlike the castles of the Middle Ages, this one comes with some wonderful modern amenities, like hydro-air heat with radiant heat in the floors, central air, a large pool, a dock, a backup generator for power outages, and plenty more.
