We live in a world where movie and TV show remakes are commonplace. It seems as if those classics still hold a dear place in our hearts and we want to watch them fresh, with new faces and some updated circumstances.

Many of those shows surround the holidays, and we may not watch them all year long but we do watch them every year. A good example of this is the Christmas movie, “Elf”.

No, I’m not saying that there is going to be an “Elf” remake. That is not likely to happen, but there is a Christmas classic set to be redone and it will include our favorite Christmas elf, Will Ferrell.

Ferrell is going to be starring in a remake of “A Christmas Carol” and if that isn’t enough to get you excited, he is going to be playing his part alongside Ryan Reynolds.

In the remake, Will Ferrell is playing the part of the ghost of Christmas Present. He makes visits to someone who needs it every year along with the ghosts of Christmas past and future. When he visits businessman Clint Briggs, played by Reynolds, he gets more than what he is expecting.

Rather than allowing himself to be bested by the ghost, Briggs tricks the ghost into visiting his own past and future.

This is sure to be a movie that will be watched every year for many years to come. It has everything you would expect from a Christmas classic, from good music to dance and plenty of comedy.
