Chef Amaury Guichon of the Pastry Academy in Las Vegas is a craftsman of the highest order.
If you have seen any of his videos in the past, you know exactly what we are talking about. When we end up getting a closer look at all of the tasty-looking items that he prepares, they end up looking too good to even consider eating. This video is certainly no different.
We can hardly believe our eyes and we are sure that you are going to struggle to wrap your mind around this one, too. This chambered nautilus that Chef Amaury has constructed is made out of a wide range of different chocolates, as he used a number of forms, textures, and flavors to complete the project. We don’t know whether to marvel at it or eat it.
The level of realism that is on display here is absolutely amazing and we have had to watch his video more than once to truly appreciate it.
“Aquatic themes are always so inspiring to me. Tons of techniques and fun ideas went into this Chocolate Under the Sea creation! This one is a tribute to one of my oldest chocolate showpieces,” Guichon shared in the video.
The hardest part for us is wondering about what happens to the chocolate that is used. Does someone eventually eat these creations or do they remain intact forever? We need to see a video series about what happens to all of this stuff once the chef is done with it. It would be an awesome watch, for sure.
In the meantime, we will just have to keep wondering. We can tell you more about it but our words simply cannot do justice to the final product that Chef Amaury has created.
If you want to see the finished product for yourself, be sure to check out the video below:
Kudos to him for putting in the time and effort to create something that can stand the test of time like this. We look forward to seeing all of his future creations!
