Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Some people are fond of saying that there is really nothing new coming out these days, and there certainly is a lot of nostalgia in much of the revivals of the 90s products.

One of those revivals was thanks to an online petition, which tried to convince Planters that they should bring back Cheez Balls, and they did so in 2018. The company, at first, only brought them back for a limited time, but it now looks as though they are here to stay. You will also be happy to know that four additional flavors are being added to this snack.

This marks a first because Cheez Balls have never had anything other than the orange cheese flavor. This summer should be interesting, with White Cheddar, Nacho and Blazin’ Hot Cheez Balls hitting the shelves sometime in April. Jalapeno cheddar will follow later this year.

“There has been incredible excitement around the return of Planters Cheez Balls over the past few years,” Samantha Hess, brand manager for Planters said in a statement according to Businesswire. “We know fans love the cheesy flavor of Cheez Balls, but they also crave new and interesting flavor options.”

This isn’t the only reason for fans of Planters’ cheese snacks to get excited. They also brought back Cheez Curls, which are similar to Cheetos. You can purchase them at Target for $2.99

If you’re looking for some other reasons to celebrate, perhaps the return of Dunkaroos this summer will be enough to do it.

The delicious cookie and frosting snacks will be available as vanilla cookies and vanilla frosting (with rainbow sprinkles, of course). They look a little different than the originals, but they are authentic.
