To start out, wash your radishes well and trim off the greens and any long roots. Slice the radishes in half and place the flat side down in a large baking dish. Pour a generous amount of melted butter over the top and seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of cayenne if you like a kick. Shift the pan around a bit to disperse the butter then pop them in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Once sizzling and slightly browned on top, remove the radishes from the oven and garnish with cilantro or parsley. Your dish is now ready to serve! Ingredients
- 2-3 bunches large radishes
- ⅓ cup butter, melted
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch cayenne pepper
- Cilantro or parsley for garnish
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Wash radishes and discard greens. Slice in half from root to stem.
- Place radishes flat side down in a 9x13-inch baking side and drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne. Shift pan around to evenly coat.
- Roast for 20-24 minutes or until slightly browned and tener.
- Garnish with cilantro or parsley and serve warm.
