Bryant Park Brings Bumper Cars To Its Winter Village
Bryant Park Bank of America Winter Village is here to offer up a game-changing opportunity and you won’t be able to believe your eyes.
If you have ever dreamed of being able to drive bumper cars out on the ice, this is your big chance. They are allowing visitors to do so until the 27th of February. New York residents and visitors have been able to visit this area since 2018.

In 2021, the pandemic restrictions kept people from having the chance to stop by but now things are finally starting to return to normal. The bumper car area is located right next to the ice skating rink, giving guests the chance to hop into a UFO-shaped vehicle and have the time of their lives.
This is one of the coolest wintertime activities, literally and figuratively. The bumper cars are inflatable, offering a maximum level of safety. They are also controlled with two joysticks, so you do not have to be an experienced motorist to handle them.
Sliding, spinning, and bumping all of the fellow NYC residents who are on hand has never been this fun. We are already jealous of the city dwellers that get to stop by.
Yes, this is a wonderful family activity but there are some caveats that need to be mentioned first. Each rider will need to be over the age of 7 and they must be at least 42 inches tall. Small children do not have the chance to sit in their parents’ laps, so this is something that parents have to bear in mind.
Sessions on the bumper carts run $20 for 10 minutes and can be booked in advance. The bumper cars are available between the hours of 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
There are a number of ongoing events taking place at Bryant Park this winter, as well. Whether you would like to hang out inside of a heated igloo or get into some ice-less curling, there are plenty of options available. Those who would like to do some shopping can head to the gift shops and there are a multitude of eateries to try out, too.
