According to Chris Harrison’s website, he also hosts events and can send personalized video messages
Are you a fan of Bachelor Nation? You may have become accustomed to seeing Chris Harrison at weddings.
As it turns out, his new website reveals you can also have that host officiate your own wedding.
“Since 2012 Chris Harrison is an ordained minister with Universal Life Church,” states the site. “He customizes each of his weddings to the couple.”
Couples must provide some details in order to be considered for the honor. The website asks for your wedding date, location, and some other details but it does not give a price.
The option was discovered on his website by a Reddit user. It wasn’t long before fans of the show were telling jokes about the Bachelor references that could easily be worked into the ceremony.
“I’d make him say, ‘I can confirm that these two people are definitely here for the right reasons and this won’t be the most dramatic ceremony ever,” one user wrote.
“I’d make him say, ‘This will be the most dramatic ceremony ever,’” added another.
Harrison has some other options on his website. They include having him record a personalized video or hosting other events.
Harrison has been involved in the fairytale ceremonies of a number of the Bachelor couple’s ceremonies. His first run at officiating a wedding didn’t make the show. It was for Cassie Lambert and Pete Scalettar, producers of Bachelor and friends of Harrison who were married in 2012.
Harrison was seen officiating Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone’s destination wedding from Bachelor in Paradise in June. The 48-year-old host also officiated the January 2019 wedding in Hawaii between Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham.
Harrison commented on Instagram pictures from Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham’s wedding, saying: “It was an incredible wedding week. My blessings and prayers to Mr & Mrs. Luyendyk and baby Luyendyk on the way. For now, it’s Aloha!”
