Cartoons aren’t just for kids. They can be enjoyed by people of all ages, but as a kid, you seem to just accept the cartoon characters as they are.

They’re often drawn in such manners that you know they’re not real, but you don’t question it. They’re in some of our favorite shows growing up, and we just love the entertainment that they provide.

But when you get older, like when you’re an adult, you might look back on some of your favorite cartoons and wonder, what would my favorite character look like in real life?

You know how they’re drawn isn’t really how’d they look in real life. It’s a caricature after all. But with the increasing use of AI technology, there is more space for creative people to create life-like renditions of some of our favorite cartoon characters.

One Brazilian artist, Hidreley Diao, started using AI technology as a means of turning famous cartoon characters into real-looking renditions. It’s pretty cool to imagine what these might look like if they were real people.

Perhaps one of the more interesting ones is Moe Szyslak from The Simpsons:

Others that Diao has done are Carl Fredericksen from Up, Princess Merida from Brave, and Joe Gardner from Soul:

Some of these are really spot on for their characters. He has also done a few villains, like Prince Hans from Frozen:

Yeah, if this villain were a real-life person we don’t blame Anna one bit for falling for his lies.

If these are impressive, you can see Hidreley Diao’s Instagram page here for more! Which are your favorite cartoon character renditions? Let us know!
