Do you remember WWE ice cream bars? Officially known as the ‘WWF Superstars Of Wrestling Ice Cream Bars’, they are ice cream cookie sandwiches with WWE stars’ faces on the cookies. They are coming back again with the latest being released described as “Vanilla frozen dairy dessert between two vanilla wafers.” It’ll feature wrestling stars including Roman Reigns, John Cena, RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and WWE Hall of Famer Randy Savage. Good humor ice cream company discontinued the original in 2009 but it is listed on their website for sale.

WWE wrestlers made their way onto the ice cream bars starting in 1987 and it was 22 years until the product was discontinued. The ice cream bars came with a free WWF trading bar in each box. Many wrestlers have been featured, including Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Hulk Hogan, and the Junkyard Dog to Stone Cold Steve Austin and John Cena. It appears as if the new ice cream bars are unique because there isn’t an ice cream stick but instead, it is an ice cream sandwich.
CM Punk started calling for the bars to continue shortly after they were discontinued. In 2011, CM Punk threatened that he would quit WWE unless it was agreed by McMahon to his contract demands, including the rebirth of the ice cream bars. It took nine years but his wishes have come true.
On the Good Humor website, the new bars are listed as featuring Becky Lynch, John Cena, and “Macho Man” Randy Savage on the box. Additional boxes are expected to come out at some point in the future.

Outback Jack, Koko B. Ware and Frankie, the Bushwhackers, The Genius, Akeem the African Dream, and Los Conquistadores were seen in the vintage commercials for those WWF Superstars Of Wrestling Ice Cream Bars. The Good Humor website does list the ice cream bar so they should be at local supermarkets before long.
“I’m proud to say I was involved in bringing CM Punk’s wish to life and these will be on sale at your local supermarket sale. A little different in shape and with no-stick but they are coming back! WWE Ice Cream Bars! ” wrote Steve.
There has been some skepticism if the new ice cream bars will be as good as the original, with one user saying: “Definitely won’t be as good as the originals though without the chocolate back.”
Twitter users would love a return of the chocolate but The Good Humor Company hasn’t commented yet. One user wrote: “I’ll take this. It’s better than nothing for now. Hopefully, they add it in the future.”
