Have you ever heard of a West Virginia holler? Many people aren’t sure what it is, but as it turns out, the answer to this question is even simpler than you may have realized. Hollers are actually known as hollows, which makes them more common than you might think.

These sheltered valleys are a wonderful sight to take in when you are on those long drives, too. That’s what makes the video from this couple such an amazing watch. They were more than happy to explain the video, which everyone should enjoy. Thanks to this clip, this is now becoming one of the best videos that we have seen recently.

“You can usually tell you’re in a holler when you look around and see mountains in pretty much every direction; you’re on a road with no painted lines; and, a dead giveaway, when you see a dog standing right smack dab in the middle of the road staring at you like you’re about to play a game of chicken,” they said in the video.

Now that they have let us know more about what we can expect, it is much easier to deduce when we find ourselves in one. You really do manage to learn something new every single day, as long as your mind is open to it. This couple is providing us with all of the inspiration that we could ever need.
