Christmas Tree Lot Goes Viral For Showing Off Dance Moves On TikTok
Tree lot business owner Derek Peterson is like any other person in his line of business. He wanted to make sure that his customers were fully aware of the sales that were coming their way.
As the owner of Peterson Trees and a resident of Elk Ridge, Utah, he decided that it was time for something different. He and his workers came up with a hilarious idea to keep with the times.
They elected to create their own very TikTok video. Before you roll your eyes, be forewarned. This crew is absolutely hilarious. The promo video went viral almost immediately, showcasing their sense of humor and their excellent deals at the same time. We were in awe of their creativity and wish that we could shop at this tree lot. It looks like so much fun, doesn’t it?
Residents are now heading to this lot to grab trees before they are all gone. Now that December is upon us, time is definitely of the essence. Peterson was stunned by the video’s massive popularity, though. He did not expect the clip to travel outside of his usual customer base. He was just trying to bring a little joy and laughter to the Elk Ridge region this Christmas.
“It’s pretty cool,” Derek said to Fox5 San Diego News. “I plan on doing another one if we sell out of all our trees and stuff. We were just trying to be funny, I didn’t realize it was going to go around the world.” That’s what happens when you are genuinely having a good time – it becomes infectious.
