This New York City apartment is currently for rent and the world of TikTok is losing its minds over it. This studio apartment, which costs $2,595 per month, does not appear to be livable.
We cannot fathom how anyone could live here but what do we know? Maybe this is an acceptable apartment for those who are looking to reside in the Big Apple.

In case you are curious, the rental is located on East 35th Street, in midtown Manhattan. The entire apartment consists of one very oddly shaped room. It comes with a full kitchen, a bathroom, a closet, and the living space (which comprises all of 7 feet).
An oven, stove, dishwasher, and full refrigerator are able to fit inside this particular studio but from the looks of it, the space is rather limited. The bathroom is very cramped but there are various amenities that allow it to have a more modern appearance than you would expect.

@rentnewyork is the page that is responsible for this post and they are always confounding us with the apartments that they share.
This clip may have received the biggest uproar yet and it has been viewed over three million times. “Is this New York City’s smallest studio?” asks the TikToker when the clip begins. If there is a smaller place than this one, we have yet to see it and we would be scared to. We are not sure how anyone manages to reside in these apartments.

These dwellings are the result of the rising rent prices, which have hit Americans hard. New York City residents are especially troubled by this development, as this is a city that was already well known for its high rent prices. As these prices continue to skyrocket, more and more residents are forced to find unique living situations.
In fact, there are some who have been forced to leave the city entirely because they can no longer afford to live there.

Of course, most of the reactions to the apartment were negative and we can see why. It can be hard to fathom having such a small amount of space, especially when you are paying over $2,500 per month. New York City, everyone! If you can make it here, you can certainly make it anywhere.
