I have to admit, it would be awesome to have The Rock as your dad. Not only is he responsible for being in some of the most iconic action movies, but he is also the voice behind one of the beloved characters in the Disney movie, Moana. Imagine having your father have the voice of Maui! Well, the Rock’s daughter, Tiana has that privilege, but she still isn’t giving her dad credit where credit is due.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been staying at home during the quarantine and he is doing his best to convince his two-year-old daughter that he is the voice of Maui. She absolutely loves the song and her dad listens to it with her as well as singing it to her every day.

He’s singing the song to her and then he turns to ask her if she believes he is Maui. She simply responds “No.” Interestingly, the song is named “You’re Welcome,” and it isn’t exactly easy to sing. That being said, The Rock is getting all the practice he needs so he knows the lyrics quite well.

He shared the difficulty he was having getting Tiana Johnson to believe she had a famous father, but she just isn’t buying it. Everybody fell in love because it’s adorable and it seems as if it’s the perfect thing to do in quarantine.

“And for the 937th time today she wants daddy to sing along with Maui,” he wrote at the time. “She has no idea, we’re the same person. And I have no idea what day it is anymore, but I am sure it’s one that ends with Y. To all the mama and papa bears out there going thru it – we understand. 24hr parenting. Get your sleep and cocktails when you can.”

We are just waiting for the day when Tiana grows up enough that she will make the connection. Like we said before, it must be cool to have The Rock as your dad.
