Her video has received over 17 million views on TikTok and rightfully so. Her husband bet her that she would not be able to keep her cool while she rode a roller coaster. As you may have expected, this bet had some hilarious results.
“Trying to now show any emotion while riding a roller coaster,” she said in the video.
The 22-year-old, who resides in Richmond, Virginia, desperately wanted to achieve her goal. According to the New York Post, her husband didn’t believe she cold keep a straight face while riding the roller coaster. Any woman who is reading this one can relate. Who doesn’t love to prove their husband wrong from time to time? That’s what makes this one so funny and easy to relate to.
In her mind, this would be the “best/hardest way possible” to test out her ability to keep a poker face. But it wasn’t long into the roller coaster that Barbosa broke her poker face and became quite expressive.
“[Looking back at the video, I am] very happy, a little embarrassed because of all the weird faces I make but all in all I’m happy I put it out there for the world to see because every time I watch it, I laugh,” Barbosa said, according to the New York Post. “My husband feels happy, [about the video, too], also in a sorta way like ‘I told you so’ because he knew I wasn’t going to be able to keep a straight face.”
Her 645,000 followers were highly amused. “You made every facial expression in the book. The ones during the shift turns got me weak tho,” said one viewer.
