Steph Curry is known the world over for his ability to shoot from long distances. Now, he is looking to broaden his financial portfolio by crafting his own brand of bourbon.

Curry is making his way into the world of spirits and we cannot wait to see the finished product. Curry’s Gentleman’s Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon is produced by Game Changer Distillery in Boone County, KY.

This already sounds great and that’s before we have even heard anything else about it. Curry has formed the SC30 Inc. partnership with John Schwartz of Amuse Bouche Winery and this is the first product of that union. Blending and barrel selection are the keys here, as they are not nearly as focused on the concept of producing the beverage from scratch.

According to WCPO, the specs are as follows: 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley.

The whiskey will also be distilled inside of a 500 gallon copper pot for a period of at least five years but no longer than seven. Curry is now part of a long line of celebrities who have decided to lend their names and likenesses to quality alcoholic beverages like these.

“In close collaboration with Stephen we produced a high-quality aged bourbon offered at a great value
that will resonate with bourbon connoisseurs and help grow the craft bourbon category to our global audience,” John Schwartz said, according to WCPO.

You do not even have to be a fan of basketball or the Golden State Warriors to appreciate this one. “I’m proud to have helped carefully craft a new signature Kentucky straight bourbon. This rich, complex and bold bourbon is the perfect offering to commemorate life’s great occasions, and will be part of a raised-glass toasting moment in the lives of my fans, friends and family,” Curry added.

Honey, fresh vanilla bean and rich caramel are said to be among the tasting notes, making this a highly anticipated release for many. The bourbon is expected to roll out to the general public this month and will set you back roughly $80 per bottle.
